A comprehensive introduction to Iridology for Horses

This course teaches the student how to analyse the equine iris in order to understand the nutritional needs and identify health imbalances in horses. Through the study of iris signs and markings the student will learn to use these findings to provide the clients with an individualised natural and nutritional protocol for each animal.

This course is suitable for.

Those wishing to work with horses, whether they are starting their career, looking to change career or wishing to develop further understanding of equine health.

Qualified therapists, vet nurses or vets who wish to expand their knowledge of natural animal health.

 Existing experienced Human Iridologists who wish to expand their practice to include equine work.

 Horse owners, yard owners, managers, trainers, farriers or grooms who wish to learn about effective options for natural rehabilitation, that can help prevent recurring problems that hinder performance.

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to become an Equine Iridology Practitioner. For those wishing to study the course for interest / use with their own horses, there is the option not to complete all assignments & case studies. This course is offered at a reduced rate of but will not provide a professional qualification. Please email us for more information.

The syllabus is approved by Balen's Insurance, allowing U.K. students to obtain professional insurance both during and after the course. While there are currently no official accreditation bodies for Equine Iridology, graduates of this diploma will be eligible to apply to join the prestigious Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International as Equine Iridologists.

This comprehensive program covers everything you need to become a skilled Equine Iridologist, including a broad understanding of the natural support appropriate for optimum equine health.

To receive the professional qualification, you must complete the course within 2 years of commencement.

1. Anatomy & Physiology: overview anatomy & physiology training is included to ensure all students are competent to perform an accurate iridology assessment and understand the implications of the results. This course does NOT give a separate A & P Qualification.

Course Curriculum

12 Modules – PDF format

12 Assignments – to be submitted electronically

10 Case studies (5 under tutor supervision) – to be completed in person / submitted electronically as appropriate.

Practical Assessment Day – to be attended in person or assessed via video submission for overseas non – professional students (students must arrange their own accommodation & transport).

Zoom / Telephone Conference Calls - with students to monitor progress and assist learning.

Insurance

At their own expense all students will be required to take out student insurance (available through Balan’s or your own insurance provider).

 Modern Equine Iridology Course has approved insurance for all students via Balen’s, however students are required to arrange and pay for this themselves. Quotes available. Insurance cover is essential for any therapy training.

Reference Books – will depend on previous knowledge & experience and are not essential. The course provides all the information needed with a comprehensive list of references for each module.
